About PureFlow Lab
PureFlow Lab publishes buying guides, comparisons, and explainers for homeowners shopping for reverse osmosis and water filtration equipment.
What this site is
PureFlow Lab is a research site. We do not run a test lab, and we do not install or test the products we write about. Every guide is built from sources you can check yourself: manufacturer specification sheets, NSF/ANSI certification listings, the product listings on the retailers we link to, and public guidance from the EPA and CDC.
When a spec or certification comes from a manufacturer or a product listing, we say so in the text (for example, “per Waterdrop” or “per the Amazon listing”). When we could not confirm a claim, we leave it out.
What we cover
- Under-sink and countertop reverse osmosis systems
- Whole-house reverse osmosis and whole-house filtration
- RO faucets, remineralization filters, replacement filters, and maintenance
- Explainers on what RO removes, wastewater, and how RO water compares with other options
How we're funded
PureFlow Lab is reader-supported. When you buy through one of our Amazon links, we may earn a commission at no extra cost to you. Amazon Associates is currently the only affiliate program on the site. See our Disclosure and Editorial Standards for details.
